Our Collaborations

CounteR

This three-year project focuses on supporting the fight against radicalisation and thus preventing future terrorist attacks and is implemented by a team representing 19 organisations from 11 EU Member States: SMEs, NGOs, and industrial, research and academic entities, along with six public law-enforcement agencies in the domains of justice, police and interior security. CounteR’s ultimate goal is to provide law enforcement agencies, Internet providers and social media platforms with an early-warning tool to be used in the detection of potential radical content for the prevention of radicalisation spread. CounteR is funded from the European Commission’s H2020 Programme and its duration is 36 months.

NOTIONES

This EU project is an interacting network of intelligence and security practitioners with industry and academia actors.
The vision of the NOTIONES network is to build and maintain a pan-European ecosystem of security and intelligence practitioners in order to (1) monitor technologic opportunities and advancements and best practices and (2) define and refine requirements and standardisation needs.

PROTECTOR

Protecting places of worship from hate crime and terrorism.
Supported by the G20 Inter Faith Forum and the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI), the PROTECTOR project will design, develop and deliver the next generation of integrated measures to enhance the protection of places of worship.

popAI

European Positive Sum Approach towards AI tools in support of Law Enforcement and safeguarding privacy and fundamental rights.
popAI aims at fostering trust in the application of AI and AI-enable mechanisms in the security domain, by increasing awareness, social engagement and gathering knowledge and expertise from multiple sectors (e.g. academic and non-academic actors). This approach will offer a unified European view across LEAs (Law Enforcement Agencies), while encouraging the creation of an ecosystem that could provide the structural architecture of a sustainable and inclusive European AI hub for Law Enforcement.

FRISCO

“Fighting Terrorist Content Online” is an EU-funded project implemented by a team of 7 partners across Europe. Our main objective is to raise awareness among small tech companies and online platforms and to help them comply with the EU Regulation on Terrorist Content Online (TCO). By supporting the fight against terrorist content in Europe, we are helping to prevent and counter violent extremism online and to create a safer online environment.
Together with the sibling projects TATE and ALLIES (funded under the same EU Call: ISF-2021-AG-TCO), FRISCO established the TCO Cluster to inform Hosting Service Providers (HSPs) in Europe about the new Regulation on Terrorist Content Online (TCO) and their new obligations.

TATE

Tech Against Terrorism Europe drives greater awareness of the EU’s terrorist content online (TCO) regulation, supporting smaller tech companies in meeting the requirements to counter the terrorist threat.
Together with the sibling projects FRISCO and ALLIES (funded under the same EU Call: ISF-2021-AG-TCO), TATE established the TCO Cluster to inform Hosting Service Providers (HSPs) in Europe about the new Regulation on Terrorist Content Online (TCO) and their new obligations.
